Auditing, How to prepare and what to Expect?

Lockforce audits will commence with an opening meeting that lasts for 20 - 30 minutes. Attendees such as Senior Management and or Department heads will be present at the opening meeting to ensure the client and personnel involved are briefed by the auditor on the audit procedure.

The auditor will explain the outline plan and timeline, which will be discussed between the appropriate personnel. This process is designed to ensure the auditor does not affect the safe daily operations of your workplace however; due to the nature of auditing there may be some minor disruptions.

Accountable department heads are to be expected to be present during the audit. This is to escort, assist and provide the auditor with relevant information pertaining to industry and workplace knowledge. This is a normal practice which enables the auditor to appreciate what procedures are involved relating to production and the safety of employees. It would be very difficult to provide positive outcomes from the audit without input of processes and knowledge from the client and or representatives.
